I have a sax that I can't tell what it is.It says carl fisher on the front in a stencil and I can't seem to find any web site that has the serial number that matches. :?:

According to the info on Steve Goodson's site, it was made by Buescher. You can try comparing it to pictures of Bueschers on eBay and the web. The shape and angle of the low C key guard is one clue. LH pinky keys layout is another.

I've seen at least one that was a Martin stencil as well.

"Carl Fischer" is not an instrument manufacturer, they're an importer.

I've seen Carl Fischer horns from:
* Conn
* Buescher
* Evette & Schaeffer, Buffet-Crampon
* Small Italian companies, etc.
