I have recently scored a 288K aristocrat which will in due course need bits and pieces.

MusicMedic (and perhaps others?) stocks Pads.

I have a dim recollection of someone (saxdaddy???) who was considering having the snaps custom made, does anyone know if these are available?

And what about the norton screw-in springs????

Everything else looks routine for a good tech, or are there any well known nasties?

Ferrees also carries snap in pads. Some have said they are a little thick. The norton springs are readily available and most tech's seem to have a stash of snaps. I'm hoping someone does come out with some snaps because I would be willing to hoard a fair number for future use.

Where can I purchase norton springs?

Thanks,

I have made snaps here and there, but they took so much time to make, that I could never sell them and make anything on them. I hope to figure out how to make them faster, maybe going to a 2 piece construction, and then silver soldering the parts together. turning the whole thing as one piece just takes to long. Ferree's sells there version of nortons, but they are not plated.
