Denver and Surrounding Area: Big Band Performance This Sunday

Hey all,

We got very short notice, but to any of you in the Northern Colorado area, this might be of interest.

My big band got a call to pick up a gig this Sunday at Snake River Pub and Grill (www.snakeriverpub.com) in Cheyenne, Wyoming. We've got a pretty decent band put together. If you could come, I'd surely appreciate it. Come on up and introduce yourself, I'll be the guy waving his arms wildly in the air in front of the band.

Downbeat's at 6. I'm expecting between 100-150 people, so get there early if you want a seat.

Hey man, I checked out your website and saw that you were at UNT for a spell. What caused you to split? I know it's hard here, but once you can get past all of the pain, you can get a whole lot out of the scene. I guess I'm not a fan of Greeley (Monsanto slaughterhouses don't sit well with me) but I understand the program there is pretty solid, I think that's where Fred Hamilton did his grad work. Just curious. I know Denton sucks compared to Denver/Boulder (I'm from Albuquerque myself) but there's valuable stuff here.

Mostly it was money, but it was a combination of other things. You can email if you'd like more details. I'd rather not discuss them publicly. I don't have any hard feelings towards UNT, but I don't want to say something that I might regret later.
