Compressor

Anyone have any recommendations for a compression unit? I'm looking at the Lexicon MPX550 which seems to have compression and all the standard effects in one unit.

Studio - Home Studio - Live?
If it is live, the Lexicon would cover pretty good. What are you thinking you need/want comp. for?
What problem will it solve?
I have owned a couple. Had some in road rigs for my sax. Don't use them any more on gigs.
DBX are very good. Alesis is cool, my last sax/live comp was a DBX160XT and it is really nice but only mono.
