It is indeed Canada Day now, Dominion Day was the old name for it.

Actually, since Kim lives in Quebec, it might have been nice to wish her a happy St. Jean Baptiste Day on June 24. That's the Fete National in Quebec. It's a bigger deal there than Canada Day.

It is soooo awesome having two National Holidays on back to back weekends (don't ask me to explain)!!!

Total genius the person who came up with that idea.

Happy 4th of July to everyone south of the border as well!

I think it was a guy at Brewers Retail that came up with the double-header idea, but I could be convinced otherwise. Pass me another Blue, please.

Reminds me of a joke that I heard once.

So these two guys are standing around, trying to figure out what to name their country. So they start naming off letters that they like.

"Hey, how about we start with a C, eh?"

"Yeah, that's good, and how about an N, eh?"

"Oh, yah, and then how about a D, eh?"

"Yah, that sounds good to me."

So then they go to the map maker and he asks what they're calling their country and they say: "C, eh, N, eh, D, eh."
