I guess I'll recycle my questions as a proper post. Still trying to compare the different versions of Dolnet Horns throughout the 60s. This Studium model is fairly common in unengraved clear lacquer and nickel/keys + rods. It has the Studium Dolnet logo on the bell and a common serial range is 50***. they're a bargain, usually cheaper than any other Dolnet I have seen (I guess it looks fairly unsophisticated in terms of aesthetics but it's basically the same design as most Dolnets of the time). Anyone has or played this particular model ? (head to head with another one?) What do you think (tone/intonation/playability). Any specific feature on this horn (alledgedly, nice octave mechanism)? Does it have a large bell?
