I saw the listed price for 2 Guardala Black Nickel tenor in
http://www.saxophones.co.uk :

DG - 501BN = £2,872.34
DG-500BN = £2,552.34.

I'm surprise since it is very expensive, even more than Selmer Ref 54/36 (£2,281.70 in their site).

I would like to know the high price for Guardala DG-500BN is because:

1) saxophone.co.uk just mark up the list price, their final best price is
much lower than this? OR

(2) Because Guardala horn is not in production at this moment so that the price is very high?

Do you think Guardala horn has re-sell value or worthy to collect (Assume they won't produce horn anymore because no schedule and no update news)

I think so. 2 or 3 horns has same quality in my opinion, but I can enjoy a very good price for the BN-501 & 500BN, which cost almost same price with a Series III. Which means I boubt very much about the pricng from www.wwbw.com & www.saxophones.co.uk

Just want to make more research before get the horn. It's hard earn money, any problem??

There are 2 Guardalas and a B&S on ebay right now that might be worth looking at.

I'm glad to hear you are getting close to the pefect horn. I think they would have long term resale value. They have a bit of a cult following already.

I can't speak to the pricing since I have a hard time getting the conversion correct to U.S. Dollars.

The value of the US dollar has fallen quite dramatically in the last few weeks. It may pay anyone to outside the US to hold off buying to see how far it slips.
