I am doing a school assignment on music related injuries. I need some information from professional teachers/performers about any injuries that they may have experienced

I have been smacked over the head accidently by the end of a bass guitar before now. I have been electrocuted when touching a mic on stage, not something I would recommend. Dropped a Bari sax on my foot before know too.

Are they weird enough?

After our gig this past friday night, our drummer tossed me an unopened can of beer, which I missed and it hit me just below the temple. I have a huge shiner now. Can't wait to go to work tomorrow, looking like I was in a bar fight!

Danger of developping a phobia for elephant's poo

(That happens when you're in a military band marching year after year in the same town's parade behind two elephants and that you have to walk right thru their stinking .... ! )

On a more serious note:
TINNITUS - that is, ringing in the ears. Durn (can I say D*mn?) loud guitar players.

Carpel Tunnel can also be a problem - especially on soprano (thumb pain).

I too have been shocked - play'n in drizzle rain! (ZAP! ...umm guys? I think we should go in now....)
