Repadding an alto Selmer Super Action

Is it true that the Super Action model (1951)takes a different pads' sizes due to inches to centimeters convertion during the times. I have to buy the whole set to repad my saxophone and I would like to be sure what I buy and put on my horn.

yes, different vintages of Selmer saxes take different sizes of pads. You will probably not be able to find a prepackages set these days, as the packages are made up for the modern stuff. What you usually have to do is buy a set, then supplement with additional pads to fit any mismatches...
Or, if you have the right tools, such as calipers, you might be able to measure the pad cups and order a custom set from somebody
