Is soprano fingerings same as tenor?

I play the oboe and am going to start playing the soprano. My friend wants to play the tenor. He plays the flute, and is going to start the tenor. My friend says the flute fingerings are like the tenor. Are oboe and soprano fingerings the same??? Are tenor and saprano fingerings the same???

All the saxophone fingerings are the same. I don't know about the oboe.

Oboe and sax share some, but not all fingerings.

Notable differences:

123|1-- on oboe is F#, on sax it's F

There are 3 F fingerings you need to know on oboe. One on sax.

12-|1-- on oboe is Bb, sax has several different Bb fingerings, but not this one

1--|1-- on oboe is C, on sax it's an alternate Bb fingering

123|123 C# is the C# fingering on oboe; on sax the long C# is less often used, open C# is more common
