Did Bundy suddenly go out of business, or stop making horns etc etc? My friend has an old bundy trombone, and when we went to the Conn-Selmer website Bundy was not listed as a sub-company. Does anyone know where we could a serial number chart or information on what happened?

"Bundy" is a brand name that is occasionally used by Selmer. It comes and goes. Modern Bundys are equivalent to "Student line horn from Selmer (USA)/Conn-Selmer".

You may be able to get a full serial number chart from Conn-Selmer themselves; I don't know of any brand new serial number charts.

The serial number charts are a continuation of the old Buescher pro horn charts, mostly.

Thanks Saxpics. Just thought it was wierd that the Bundy name dissappeared almost overnight from the Conn-Selmer Website
