Saxes and PMS

Oh lawdy, lawdy, lawdy. I just saw an ad, and then later today a review for a new (to me at least) sax on the market, the P. Mauriat Saxophones. (You already know where I'm going with this?)

Now, Yamaha codes their saxes with "Y" (for Yamaha) followed with other identifying figures. And P. Mauriat Saxophones is coding their saxes...?

I understand they're cheaper than other comparable makes, but they're only fully functional three weeks out of the month. :shock:
