can anybody tell me anybody about this horn, right now its unplayable because of an accident which destroyed the D palm key, so its hanging over my tv in my room:P
if you have info, id like to know
York saxophones after 1917 or so are Conn, Martin and Buescher stencils. Some horns prior to this were produced by York themselves, and these horns are rare in the sense of "uncommon".
Take a look at the York website at http://www.calstatela.edu/faculty/jswain/brass/
I'd consider the horn worth as much as any other Conn stencil from around the same time: call it around $400 US maximum.

As far as I can tell, that site is devoted to brass york instruments, rather than woodwinds.
For instance, my tenor's serial number falls before they year 1898 by their lists.
