I would like to know about these horns. How's the fingerboard and projection on these horns? I'm looking in the area of sound and fingers. when I say projection I don't mean loud but a sound that travels.

Well, I've just bought a 1975' '70 Tenor (Lacquer) on ebay in Europe and currently expecting it.
It's my first tenor but I might help answering some of your questions (provided it does not need regulation, as it says). I've been very interested in Dolnet myself for a while, and quizzical about all the different appreciations as well as the superlative judgements on saxpics. But there aren't so many of them to try out (especially M70) and I've decided to go and buy one to give it a try. Just to see if they're really such a worthwhile bargain. All I can say is that I've never seen one going for more than $ 800-900 on ebay and some seemed to be great. But you never know before you play it, so let's wait and see if they're as good as they look !!!! Then, I'll have to get my hand on some of the BelAir brothers in order to compare.
More on this in a few days...
