i own this sax two years ago, this horn play quite well but not the 3rd octave c. when i play this note, i can feel that the air is note that smooth and the sound is smaller. is this normal? i always use the alternate fingering which is b + side c to get the big sound.

any thing can be adjust?

It might be worth asking a technician to look at it. The alternate B+side key C fingering is often clearer and better in tune on many saxophones, but your standard fingering needs to be acceptable, and it should be on that model of saxophone. The opening of the B and/or Bb pad above it is likely to be the thing to adjust, but I would leave it to the experts if you don't know what you are doing. My tech told me she once fixed a dull note only when she changed a pad that happened to have a different sized resonator from the old one as it was the only one she had available, and suddenly the reponse was corrected. Moral - go to an experienced technician.

I have not experienced that. I think you ought to take singlereed's advice. You probably have something out of adjustment.

I have experienced this with my selmer alto after i had it overhauled.
I complained to my sax tech who re-fixed the opening of the b-pad and everything turned out nicely. Singlereed is right... :D
