What material should classical mouthpieces be made out of?

I am curious what material should a classical piece be made of?

I haven't answered the poll question, because I didn't find a suitable response.

It doesn't matter what material a classical saxophone mouthpiece is made of. What matters is the sound that comes out of the horn.

Also, the piece has to feel right. If it doesn't you begin to do all kinds of wierd things to compensate for the bad feel.
