Translate, please.
WAP stands for "Wireless Application Protocol" in other words, a WAP site is a web site for cellular phones.
For doing so, I'm not sure exactly how that works, but one would need to make another version of SOTW which is browsable by cell phones. Harri and the SOTW staff have other preocupations right now. Then we'd have to define how many users would actully use the WAP site. Personally, I'm not convinced that it would be worth it.
I'm not quite sure how it's different, either, unless Blackberries just don't support php (which is what this Forum uses).
I'd have to investigate and, as Kim says, we've got an awful lot on our plate at the moment. If you'd like, though, you can definitely PM or e-mail me and tell me more, if you have the details on what changes need to be made.
(You're actually not the first to suggest this.)
BTB, I could translate this entire website into HTML -- it takes awhile, but it's not difficult -- but you couldn't post to it and I'd need about a GB of storage space on someone's server.

www.howardforums.com and www.blackberryforums.com both have WAP sites.. They use a wap engine which simply reads the site I believe and mirrors it....BBF is in PHP I believe.

Oh. Then, I'm not concerned; I don't have a need nor want a cell phone.
From very cursory reading, BlackBerries have a "compressed" HTML-like code they use called ".wap.html".
HOWEVER, BlackBerries that have version 3.8 of their OS or higher can easily connect to and read ALL websites.

3.7.1.71 btw....Rogers in Canada was the first in NA to have public MDS ...anywho, this isn't a Berry forum so we don't need to get into more depth. Anyways,...
