Hi everybody, after 24 years without playing on a sax, i'm finally back at it. All this because of my daughter, who's now at high school.
So we rent her a student Yam, and , there she goes better than i was at her age ( almost ). So i decided to buy a pro horn for both of us, and the model 62II it is. The difference with the student horn is incredible. Even my daughter sees the difference. However i want now a tenor. Would i be as much happy with a yts-62II, for build quality and sound? Is there still problems with the new neck?
Thanks for any help.

Mario!

Totally agree with the superb build quality. The action is equally good. Know nothing about the neck; but it was the bland sound that forced me to sell my Yam 62 tenor............regards Bb

I've had my '62 for just over a year now, and I have had no problems with the neck, or any other part of it to be fair. The best way to find out however, is to try loads of different saxes.
