Hello,

I'm the Jazz Sax Lecturer at Adelaide Uni. I took my 3rd year small ensemble to play at IAJE in Manhatten in '98, the first University Australian Ensemble to perform at an IAJE conference.

Where are you from and with what group will you be performing? I'm trying to get there this year, still working it out. Best wishes, glad to hear you'll be "representing"!

I've also taught at the University of Natal, in Durban, South Africa, and Darius Brubeck (my old boss) will be playing with current and former students, some of whom I know, should be a great gig, don't miss it if possible.

cheers, DC

I live in LA but I do not know anything about this convention.

If someone can email me info on the registration site, or help me get a pass somehow, that would be nice. I am not a music educator and I do not know if this convention is open to lay people.

My company and i will be there. I believe we will have a booth at the convention. Please stop by and say 'hello.'

Last year was a blast and I hope this year nearly as much fun.

Actually, it's not in LA, it's in Long Beach.
I went last January when it was in NYC.
I'm probably going this year too- just have to finalize the $$.
