Very well made, quality engraving, and ***rolled tone holes***, microadjusters for upper and lower stacks.
Says Tichard (maybe "Pichard") on bell: Artist Model, Paris, France.
The neck receiver has 4 equally-spaced slots, with the constricting ring around them, but not soldered to the body.
The underside neck brace (mine is an alto) is somewhat similar to SML style (soldered in 2 places onto the neck, and rectangular rather than round in crossection).
Octave thumb rest is metal, and is tightened to its mounting post with a screw.
Table keys are arced: like a partly opened fan.
Anyone have a clue????
Is it really a pro model?
Who made it?
Thanks in advance for any elucidations..............

well, I just got back from saxpics.com, and it appears to be a Gold Medal SML, with the infamous "23rd feature": the swiveling octave thumb rest.
Neck brace looks the same.
Table keys were obscured, but appeared to have that arc to them.
"Pichard" is in fact the name, as it is mentioned by saxpics as one of SML's sometime stencils.
Has excellent engraving down to and including bow.
If anyone may have further comment or info, esp. decisive confirmation, it would be welcomed.
Thanks.

Its Pichard... I've seen 2 in the last year: one from Junkdude, the other out of Hawaii.
