Hey all
I'm looking to try and find a transcription for Getz's solo from Girl From Ipanema. I've heard two versions of his solo, one played on the original spanish version from the song, and another from the versoin done by Sergio Mendez and Brazil 66. Could anyone help me with this?

I'm a bit lost. I know where Ipanema is, but where the heck is Impanema?

Brian - That's Portuguese, not Spanish!
Good luck on the tune.

All you need to do is to buy this book:
Hal Leonard's Play-Along Series : Antonio Carlos Jobim and the art of Bossa Nova Vol.8
This song you are asking is in this book with C, Bb & Eb solo sheet. Melody part is almost same with Getz's original song. You can act the sax palyer position & play-along with the music.
There are many famous Bossa Nova tunes in this book as well. You'll like it. I'm very happy with this book, a lot of fun.
