bought a B&S 2001 Alto, have a look

Hi all,
yesterday i bought my new Alto, a B&S 2001 Black Nickel. I got it for
1300 Euro. It has a great sound, fast action, and isn't really good looking?

yes, you are right i meant isn't it. Sorry.
Now before i bought it i playtested this sax against others mainly Yamahas as yas-475, yas-62 II, and yas 875 EX. Well, i wouldn't say that the sound of the B&S is better then the sound of the 62 or the 875, but it is comparable. It has more punch in the low register, and the high notes are a little bit softer. All in all i like the sound very much. Another good point for me is the smooth and fast action.

It look same with a Guardala Artist/Pro Custom, they use same design & same factory. Is it a Black Nickel horn?

the Sax i bought, was an exhibition exemplar.
The normal price for a gold laquered model is about 1550 Euro.
