I sold my King Lemaire on Ebay last week. I guess it was made by some place in Czech in the early 80's. Can someone verify this? Any history on this sax? I know it's a secondary stenciled horn.
This was not an SML....

The tenor Amati Super Classic and the King Lemaire are identical. They both play fairly well and the intonation is good top to bottom. I will say that the Amati is a slightly brighter sounding horn. Both seem to hold up and are constructed well. Both of mine I believe are from the late 60's. Is there anyone out there who could help me identify the true age of these horns. I need serial #/ yr. info on the Amati's as they don't follow the King's series of numbers. Thanks, Kevin
