My band and I have quit returning this guys phone calls, does anyone else know an agent this bad: Has taken 80% of an acts money(50% of one of our gigs). Has put all the area bands names in the phone book with his number by it. Sold his agency to a local DJ for 40,000 because he was "retiring" only to go up the road 20 miles and keep booking. Crashes partys and tells all that he put the band together and he owns them. If his band is not working he loves to come and crash your gig, by sitting in and doing his smoking takes on New York New York and Blue Bayou(we play funk and R/B) and trashing your set. One of the last jobs we took from him was just great, we get there and its a normal gig from this guy. We are told to set up in the back yard in the flower bed. Its 100+ and there no power and the drummer,s seat is sinking in the soft dirt and the lady of the house said ''great,you all are here your the Italian folk band right". Does anyone else work for a guy like this?This kind of stuff will keep you at home jamming to Aebersold CDs.(I'll step off my soap box now)
