anyone heard about the brand DOLNET?

has anyone heard about the brand Dolnet?
i was just curious because i saw an add that was selling a dolnet from 1970 on a store and its really expensive(1500euros), so i wondered if its a good brand

Check out the web site www.saxpics.com There is a section devoted to the Dolnet brand. They were quite good horns; Don Byas and Lester Young played on that make of horn at various time during their careers.

I haven't played one for over 30 years, but as I recall they were decent. The keywork is quite pretty with beveled palm keys. That price sounds way too high however and I have seen them for around $400-700 US on ebay.
