Well not really but I am Australian!

Hello hello every body, sax is actually my second instrument, my first is clarinet.

I've been playing clarinet for 8 yrs and sax for 8 months! I've always wanted to play sax and i finally got the opportunity when an opening for bari came up in our school stage band.

I'd like to say that i can play bassoon but i'm getting lessons off two of my friends whenever they let me near theirs.

I want to learn flute so i can work in pits.

I'm also an addict of the french horn but i think i'll leave the brass alone for a while!

I'm in my last year of school and want to go onto music therapy at uni.

My sax playing needs a lot of work, so this is where you guys come in! I've only been on here about twice, but theres soooo much brain food that i'm sure i'll be back again soon!

Hi claribari,

Where in Australia are you from? Judging from your intro I'd say Melbourne or close to it. I also started on bari from a school stage band opening, but I already play alto and tenor.

Its really great to hear that you are interested in studying music therapy, as this is an area which is of interest to me. It'd be great to hear more from you.

i'm playing bass clari at the moment and i'm having more trouble with my air stream on that than the bari! I don't get it!
Its quite hard to transfer from clari to bari a havent worked out the ombochure completely yet....
