I'll be in the Anaheim area for business from July 25 - 29. Can anyone steer me to good music in the area?

Also, if anyone can point me to a good website that can list the goings-on in LA (~40 miles away, I think?) I'd very much appreciate it.

Check out http://www.steamerscafe.com . This is a nice little laid back cafe in Fullerton, the next burg north of Anaheim, with excellent jazz 7 nights a week. The website provides all the info you may need.

And they just finished a major remodling of the bowl. A couple of friends of mine went to see a jazz show there last week and said it was fabulous. So, if you get a chance to make the Basie show, go for it.

I did in fact make it to the Basie concert at the Bowl. Terrific, as usual. It was my first time in Hollywood, and it only took me 4 hours to get there from Orange, CA (30 miles away). Sheesh!
