Hi, i've just bought a Kohlert alto, serial number 208xxx. It is silver-plated but has nickel-plated keys.
It has the fancy VKS key-guards, mother of pearl G# and micro-tuner neck.
The G# trill key is interesting in that it works "in reverse". ie the trill key opens the tone-hole.
The only trouble is that it leaks like a sieve so I can't tell how it sounds. Are there any Kohlert owners out there who can enlighten me?
