meetup.com looks like some kind of "dating" service; it will cost $19/month to run a Meetup.
There are 186 Saxophonists (out of which 186 are still waiting something to happen).

You will meet more saxophonists on the SOTW Forum in Who We Are & "Get Togethers" (http://www.saxontheweb.net/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=73) :)

They suggest certain monthly dates for all saxophonists to hold their local meetups on the same day supposedly to increase press coverage :?

fuggedaboudit. I'm quite interested in meeting other saxophonists, but I rather go to festivals or talk about a get-together here than paying money for organising a meetup myself.

I also couldn't find any more info on the International Saxophone meetup. Anybody who knows where?
