The Yardbird Suite is near Whyte ave but it is actually on "Tommy Banks Way" Since it is the only building on a very short street, "you can't miss it" Great place that is well set up for musicians and music fans. It is a private club run by the Edmonton Jazz Society i.e. people who do it for love as much as for money. They also sell tickets to the general public. They get the best acts that tour western Canada. Our group played there on a saturday afternoon workshop at the Jazzworks in February.

Highly recommended.
