Borgani curved sop

Can anyone identify a Borgani curved sop from this sparse info?Bought new 1980 Serial no.8736
I understand earlier Borganis do not carry the rep their current successors have. I know they made lower grade models than now. Can anyone grade this one?

I got one in '82 from Emilio at Rayburn Music, returned it 2 weeks later. Nice sound, impossible to play in tune...

i bought a curved borgani soprano form charles ponte on west 46th st. manhatten in 1978 and i can tell you it barely played. i traded it later for a piccolo. i got more use from that. they were ok,but just ok.

Dolphyo and pakriff, thanks guys, I think you both have stopped me making a very expensive mistake. My new Antigua seems to have been repaired satisfactorily so I no longer need pursue alternatives.
