I have King tenor saxophone. This model is very similar on late Super 20.
Who knows such model?
I can not found any information about this King.

It does appear like the very recent Super 20s (e.g. check HERE (http://www.shwoodwind.co.uk/Buying/Late_KingS20_tenor.htm) that were made, even though the new Kings are all student horns. My guess is that it is a recent King body with copied keywork. You might look carefully to see if it has brazed on toneholes...if not, then it is a Taiwanese or Japanese body (not bad, just not 'real' Super 20, as the sound comes from the body). From what I can see, it does appear to be a pretty good copy of a very late Eastlake with the Japanese bodies that had drawn toneholes.

These were made in 1980s. Very similar to the very late model Super 20s. Not bad horns.

I do not think, that this saxophone is made in Asia.

This sounds like it is a Super 21 - which was made under the lead of a Canadian technician or designer.

My first alto was one of these (all brass) that my brother bought for me, used, down at the old Magic Flute in Seattle. It was a good horn (until I stupidly dropped it on its neck). My first tenor was a little earlier Silversonic. Good horn as well until I was talked into having it re-lacquered (badly).

About Super 21. Very strange sax. :reindeer: It is seems to me this Canadian took student Conn 20 or King 660 and and attached a new silver bell and neck. Look at mechanics! :smilebox:

But does a Conn 20 does have rolled tone holes? I also know of differences to the upper stack and bell brace. Some 21's had under slung necks as well.

Silver-sax,
I agree that the S21 looks different from the S20! It is interesting that you mention the Conn 20 and King 660 because if you look at Conn-Selmer's catalogue today, the Conn and King student horns are identical; the only difference is, of course, the name. But, what do we expect, they are now one big-*** company anyway.
The message to take away from here is this: When it comes to King and Conn (or Selmer, for that matter), the best horns are still the vintage ones!
