Looks like the selmer.com saxophone message board is thoroughly b0rk3n. Pressing Last Day or Last Week just gives a string of code and the most recent message dates have jumped back to about March.

In other news, classicsax.com, which has been pulling less and less traffic the past few years (apart from clue-deprived 13-year-olds using the guestbook to request the "notes" to the theme from The Simpsons), appears now to be well and truly kaput. The frontpage is still up, but all the links give you the 404. Too bad; Bob Haley offered a wide range of merchandise including hard-to-find mouthpieces, and you could depend on the Forum for a nice cleansing Rascher thrash several times a year.

I remember using the classicsax board on a regular basis about 5 years ago. It was the best forum out there besides the newgroups. I got annoyed with the Selmer board because everytime i had a post that made any mention to pricing Miles Osland would pull it... Then I found SotW and haven't left since.

I remember first posting at the Selmer board as Paul and receiving an email from Paul Coats asking if we could work something out to differentiate our names used to post there...I kept in touch with Paul and a few months later he mentioned this new site...remember the old Sax on the Web? Ah, memories...
