Value of S990

Friday afternoon I will be looking at an S990. It's been described as about 8-10 years old, played often in that time, some lacquer loss and small brown spots on keys, otherwise good condition. I think I can get it for $1000 to $1100 from a motivated seller. Good price? Too high?

Sounds like a good price to me unless you find that it really needs an overhaul. 901's, 900's, and 880's are going for that and more. Check out the completed ebay auctions searching for the words Yanagisawa soprano. That should give you a look at current prices - won't find many 990's though.
