B&S serie 600

What are these horns? I saw a brand new B&S serie 600 soprano in a German woodwind shop for about 600 Euros. Is this a somekind of Taiwanese made student line of B&S?

Best to my knowledge, the 600 series are made in Germany. They are the student models that B&S makes and are replacing the 1000 series B&S.

I was told by B&S here in the states that B&S does not make a soprano because they were never able to make one that played well enough. So it may be Taiwanese.

Thanks Dave! This low price got me thinking that can this be "a genuine B&S"? But, why not. I guess B&S has a good quality control even if they have their sopranos made elsewhere.
