Has anyone had any dealings with this brand of horn and if so what do you think?

I did a search on this forum but did not find anything.
Thanks in advance!!!

DO NOT BUY THAT HORN.

They are cheaply made and the guy is known to be, lets say, less than honest.

Do yourself a favor and pick up a student or intermediate Yamaha. It'll serve you much better for the same price range.

Don't be fooled by the fancy promotions or colors or whatever.

The hnrns are crap. Get a Yamaha, Yani, Selmer etc. They are FAR SUPERIOR horns. You'll thank yourself later.

There are people here who have directly dealt with the attempted repairs of these horns. Gordon I believe is one. Perhaps he'll chime in on how badly these horns are made.

DO NOT BUY THAT SAX ANYBODY

I had the misfortune of owning one of those for two years.

Terrible terrible terrible. Intonation was poor. The tone was more than sub par, the lower register was way out of whack (low b flat to regular b flat) and the high register was incredibly stuffy.

The "Silver" dc pro horns are really nickle. I don't think they're even made out of brass because when the nickle chipped I saw a black like metal below it.

These horns are BAD NEWS

Maybe ol' Dom should hook up with someone who makes lamps out of vintage saxes. Then, we could rescue some cherished makes, and rid the world of these atrocities at the same time.
