saxophone queries

I have a clarinet friend who's got an old saxophone, and all he knows about it(I just called him, he's gonna check later.) is that it's a Parisian Ambassador.
Anyone know anything about this? Sorry I can't be more descriptive.

Some PERISIAN AMBASSADORS were made by Beauginer in France but depends on the age.I think early ones could be Martin stencils but would have bevelled toneholes also buffet may have made some.Cant be any clearer without pictures

Is there any way to determine who made a particular Olds Ambassador? Some were made in France, some made in USA. I have an older one that is labeled Parisian Ambasador and it was made in France. I see other links that say some were made by Cousenon and some by Perrier (or something like that)
