SML Strasser Marigaux Gold Medal alto for sale.

Rick, your sax looks just great. It looks like it has the straight tone holes. Is this a change made to all the SMLs at some point in production? Is this sax goldplated? Looks more gold in pictures than normal so I'm a little curious.

Jerry, the sax is lacquered. The lacquer has a very nice gold-colour, that is true, and it is very well preserved for a sixties-sax. But it is also due to an effect that occurred in the pictures I think because the flash on my camera didn't work well. I am not very satisfied with the fotos, so I'll replace them by better ones soon.
Referring to saxpics' research the later models have stright tone holes, same as the King Marigaux stencils.
