People who have a SML on eBay seem to feel called upon to post about 10 messages on these boards, one in every single thread. Wouldn't it be simpler, and reduce noise, if you just put your post in ONE place? How about this here "eBay" thread that I just started?

I think its is a good idea. Different people think different, any comment helps to improve our forum.

I think the issue here is try to keep the forum intersting. Tks for your comments!

Hey, how about diversifying your collection into SML clarinets to accompany those saxophones you have. I offer on eBay items 382127282 (a really nice clean strong-playing plastic SML) and 382109654 ("Lemaire" model) -- clarinets complete with mp3 sound clips to prove they really play.

SML has always made world-class oboes, so they probably make fairly decent single-reeds.

Remember, folks: the Lemaire horns are generally NOT made by SML -- Lemaire saxophones were probably made by Amati, OLD Lemaire clarinets were built BY Lemaire, not SML (but I may have seen some SML-made wooden Lemaire clarinets) and plastic clarinet=student model.

The plastic SML clarinet is back on eBay -- a deadbeat bidder won auction but didn't pay. # 416411469. Not a pro horn, but a very strong student horn; or a weatherproof horn for a pro to take on parade/football duty.
