I was playing on ebay a few days ago and look what I found.

I have been a huge conn fan since I got a conn student model 21m Sax when I just started playing. Conns are the only instruments I will buy so I couldn't pass up this oppurtunity. I think Its a C-Meleody. I don't know much more then that except for what The guy has in his description. Any help finding more info would be a great help. Already named it.

I have an identical Conn C melody, the C above the serial number is the give away. These C melodies do play very, very nicely indeed once they have been set-up.

That's a very pretty C-mel at a fair price, with the mouthpiece. Get it set up properly and enjoy it. Congratulations!

How should I set it up?

I saw this thing and I just knew I had to have it.

I was looking at pictures of similar saxs and comparing them to mine.

Mine is ...umm...rather dirty...

Whats the best way to clean my little one?

Get a silver polishing cloth, some Hagerty's silver polish, a clean cloth, a bunch of Q tips and a couple of hours of spare time to go over the horn top to bottom. Be careful on the gold wash, as it is softer than the silver.

Silver horns are beautiful, but they do take work to stay that way!

well, from the pic it looks like a conn eagle mp was included. if it is the original c mel mp and feels too small consider having it opened up a bit. you can also experiment with alto or tenor mp's. i have the same horn - conn 'straight neck' model and it came with a buescher c mel mp and i had this opened up and it works well.

What is the model name? Or does it have one? IS there any other infromation you can give me about it? I would kinda like to know as must as I can about her.

it's hard for me to see via the pic but conn's c mel with the straighter neck (vs. a tenor like neck) has especially good intonation, relative to other c melody saxophones.

When I get it I will have to take more pics after I clean it up.
