Just bought a 16m for my wife. It's in excellent shape. But, I'm confused as to when it was made and where. I've seen conflicting s/n references

It has "CONN" and "16M" engraved on the bell. The serial number is "N213XXX". It has brass/gold keys and mechanism. Split bell valves on left side. Overslung octave key. Pearl inserts.

From what I've seen it's either 1970 or 1985.

The serial number throws me a bit (Translation: I have no idea whatsoever about "N"ogales-era serial numbers), but judging from the engraving you describe I'd guess 1985.
