yes its a buffet. i used to own an alto but sold it for 75 $ . not shure which model its a stencil of but think its the one before the dynaction

it was a very well made horn but was a little stuffy sounding but i wasnt into playing alto at the time so i never gave it a real good play test.

It's a Dynaction stencil. Pretty decent horn and funky engraving. Pretty nice horn.
"Stuffiness" can be caused by choice of MP. I had pretty good luck with a Selmer LT. My Rascher did sound pretty stuffy on it, tho.

Steve Goodson talks about the dynaction on his web site. He says they should be priced like selmers from the same era.
Mouth piece can clearly make a difference. I bought the first one for the horn and the second one for the original mothpiece. These are clearly professional horns with a very unique sweet tone that stands out especially when properly aplified on a good PA system. I have two of the "opera" models, and they are clearly the same horns as seen in saxpic. I am not sure if it is a "Super Dynaction" or just "Dynaction". These Horns are Keepers. It even looks like the Selmers from the same era, avery solid heavy guage metal.

the only alto better built from that era is an s.m.l.i wouldnt have sold mine if i knew what it was
