Do any of you guys know of a bari. sax stand that is used for playing to take the pressure of the neck? I recently injured my back and I need something like this.

The Hamilton stand is one option. I didn't like having to fix the huge metal braket on my horn, although to be fair it did not harm. It is not easy to get on and off the stand, and also when playing I found I preferred to move a bit, not least so I could scan the music, so I switched to a BG harness.

There is also the Jiffy stand which has a post in a kind of roller ball joint and this gives you a lot more movement of position when playing. You still have a massive metal bracket to fix to your horn. I sit next to a bari player in our band who uses one of these.
