Dear colleagues,
I want to consult to you. I want to buy a good German Bari.
What is better Keilweirth, Keilweirth Bundy, old Armstrong, B&S, Hohner (?) or Weltklang.
I heard, that now saxophone Weltklang silver platted is very popular in USA.
Thanks,
KL

Only the Keilwerth seems to retain a residual
(resale) value. Condition is everything. A solid setup will make a great deal of difference, and is worth about $300 in my neighborhood.
So if two horns are equally priced, but one needs an overhaul consider it more expensive.
I have played a Weltklang with a Kliengenthal emblem and it was well behaved; good tuning and supportable power. I test-drove a B&S and felt it needed to be played loud to 'fill out'.
If I could afford a JK, that's the direction I would head. Over the long haul, I felt it was a horn that would reward your efforts.
What's the Weltklang selling for anyway?
