This guy is absolutely amazing. Does anyone know what setup he is using. Phil Barone and Sugal seem to disagree on this one. I've heard as of late he's been using a keilwerth bari but i don't know what mouthpiece he uses. Does he have a website?

He is amazing. I just picked up a couple more of his CDs. He has a site but there is no info on his set-ups. His album pictures have a lot of different saxes and a few different MPs on them. He's used Runyons in the past and a Strathon Adjustatone is seen in several of his pics. He has used some synth reeds including a Bari brand.

I suspect he went with the money on saxes. He was a Yamaha clinician for a while and had scads of Yamahas, including the 62 Bari. Then he started endorsing Keilwerth. But he once told me he has a low Bb Selmer Mark VI in his closet for when he gets too old to hold the low A.
An amazingly fast bari player with superb altissimo. Runyons.

I read somewhere (several somewheres actually) that he uses a Lawton B chamber Hard Rubber. Judging from the pics, it could be it.
His altissimo on Bari is amazing. It's like hearing an alto sax!

I though I saw a HR Lawton on the TBS album, but I would need a FBI lab to help enhance the pic. Looks black and has the large lig thumb screw. Does not appear to have the Strathon slider on top.

I had the pleasure of attending a master class with Nick B in the summer of 2000. At that time he was playing a low Bb Keilwerth with a 9?? BB Metal Lawton. He usually playes a low A but it was damaged by one of the airlines. This guy is an awsome musician!!! I have most of his cds. Burning!!!

I spent some time with Nick earlier this year. He's using a B flat KW and a Lawton.
