I play a delrin Q #14 on bari,great piece! I´d like to have a similar piece but in metal.Is anyone playing metal Quantum on bari? I´m thinking sizes #13 or #14.Thanks!

I use a Runyon metal Q #13 on my Yani 901 bari. I like the sound and it is a LOUD piece. On the other hand I can play soft to blend with the sax section when needed. I swap back and forth between the Runyon and a heavily modified Yanagisawa HR piece. The Runyon does seem to be a little reed particular, so you may have to try a few to get it the way you like it.

I'm playing a metal Q 11 these days on bari. I played a while on a Delrin Q 11 and Q 13. The metal is not as loud but has a better bari tone to my ears. Less bratty. I pop in a reworked Spoiler for R&B and electric gigs. I mostly play big band with it.

I still prefer the Delrin Qs on tenor.
