Try OK, Front F, Rh F and the Bb side key. Different horns prefer different fingerings. It could also be that the adjustments on your horns are different.
Can your friend play this note on your horn?

Or, try pressing the palm keys closed, then trying it. I'm thinking its maybe a pad leak in one of them.

Bootman, i also use ur type of fingering sometime. but the tone is thinner and unclear. i prefer the 1st fingering.
Screech, u mean i call another person to press the palm key thighter??

No, just press down lightly on the pad cups to seat the pads good. Or hold all 3 down with left hand and finger just the B key (with the right hand) and OK for sake of experimenting. I do funny stuff like this because my sax leaks like a sieve. Its going in to the doctor soon, though.

Compare how much the front F vents the high E key on the 2 saxes. They may be set up different. Still, it is not uncommon to have 2 apparently identical instruments play differently.

The front F key should open the F pad to 3/4 the height of the side key. If this is set correctly, it should work.
On the one fingering vs the other. I use either and it is horn dependant upon which fingering I use. Throat shape is much more critical for getting the G3 out than anything else.
