Jul 9th 12:38 PM I have been messing around with altissimo before anything was properly taught to me, and just using the fingerings, I can hit C4, and sometimes D4. But I've been taught how to approach the altissimo regitster with harmonics now, and I am struggling to get anything to happen. My teacher has me play low Bb and use a "ka" sound with my tongue to get the upper partials to speak. But I can only hit F2! Does anyone have any advice as to how to practice harmonics, or what I can do to make them speak? Any help would be greatly apprectiated.
