Apr 26th 1:24 PM What I want to know is how do Sanborn and Rangell etc. do their multiphonics? I have Dorn's book but this is not their style of multiphonics. I have bumped intot hem occasionally by playing F-sharp (3) and relaxing dropping my jaw cracked the note..but these guys can do it on any note altissimo or not! I'd greatly appreciate if anyone cango into detail on how they accieve this sound.

Apr 29th 10:35 PM I believe what you are refering to as their particular "multiphonics" are not neccessarily fingering oriented multiphonics but a result of embouchure technique that gives them a buzz on certain notes.
