i am having some trouble gettnig the first octave to sound i can usualy get the fiths and and some times 2 octaves above. like for instance

low bflat fingering i easly get the f2 and bflat3 but i realy have to work to get bflat 1

i find that i can can get low c fingering c1 pretty easy ??!?!

any ideas i usualy start my warm ups and work over tones for a long time prolly 45 min or more.

You may be using wrong embouchure tension and airstream. Have you read Paul C's beginner's corner articles?

usually on the overtone Bb2 (fingered off of Bb1`) you have to play easier and somewhat loose.

For an experiment since you can get the overtone of C - play that C and add the Bb finger to see if it works. Once you figure out the voicing for that, just memorize it. That one overtone can be somewhat different than the rest, and different on other horns. Don't be overly concerned about it. It will come.

You have to start in the middle of the overtone like at the C, then go down. That's how Sinta shows you how to do it. You have to start in F1, get the octave, then extend the range downward. Its really hard to just get Bb2 off of Bb1, but when you get it, a lot of good things will happen for you.
